My guess is he is in the hinterlands of Pakistan. They know where he is, but the
political cost of getting him is a lot more than that of not getting him. For
example, we get him out, embarrass the Pakistan government, radicals take over
the only islamic nulcear power, nuclear war starts.
He cannot use a cell phone or other electronic method of communicaiton, so maybe he
is not that big a threat. Or maybe whatever he uses for communication the
U.S. can tap, so he is of more use alive than dead.
Maybe the U.S. does not want to make a martyr out of him. They might
prefer to take him alive and bring him to court like a common criminal, but
the trial and botched execution of Sadam is an example of what can go
wrong.

In responce to the reply on where is Usama i would like to say that you are wrong.
The cost is no object considerring we have spent billions of americans money to fight a civil war we will never win for people that will never be happy with the u.s. Also they may know where he is but going in to get him will not be an embarrassment for pakistan if the stupid motherfucker running this country would get involved in diplomatic relations. As far as taking him alive i dont think Usama is going to let that happen. Also if nuclear war would happen everybody knows the u.s. is the dominant force in that area regardless of how many times they say we have dismantlled all nuclear weapons! I,m not trying to insult you bitflogger by saying you are wrong that is just my opinion. Again this is the guy responsible for thousands of american lives and he needs to be dealt with! No matter what it costs! If america would get on board with following what the government is doing and pursue some fact finding they would see that everything the Bush crime family has done the past six years they would want Bush and Cheney impeeched and we would certainly be after Usama and not the Iraqies freedom or more importantly their oil. Dont forget Bush has a backround in the oil industry and has alot of oil buddies who only care about making money and not about human life. Well thats all for now as im starting to ramble. I shall return and post some more in the future as you can see i am passionate about wrong doings of the government no matter what party they are. It just so happens the republicans are wrong all the time and stand up only for who ever gives them the most money!!
